about the company

Our client is a renowned International Corporate Bank. Due to the expansion of business in APAC, especially in Mainland China, they are looking for a Native Mandarin Speaker with strong Global Markets/Treasury product knowledge to join their Regional Audit Team.

about the team
You will be joining the Regional Internal Audit team. Reporting to Head of Internal Audit in Hong Kong and responsible for APAC Global Markets / Treasury business audit, you are expected to have strong exposure to Vanilla products like FX, Forex, RMB trading will be a plus.
about the job
  • Work closely with the APAC Head of Audit & participate in audit assignments covering products / multi-business lines within the Asia Global Markets business
  • You will be involved in developing ongoing assurance plans and ensuring coverage of the highest risks whilst meeting local regulatory requirements
  • Provide strategic direction to the engagement team members across the Asia region
  • Contribute to the global and regional internal audit objectives and planning by being actively involved in regional delivery and execution for the Global Markets businesses
skills & experiences required
  • Professional qualifications in Audit, Accounting or equivalent disciplines
  • Minimum 5 + years' experience in Internal / External Audit and / or related Controls function focusing on Global Markets / Treasury products
  • Strong understanding of plain vanilla products
  • Fluent Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • Ideally with exposure to Chinese regulations - CBIRC
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing and problem solving skills
