We are currently working with a Hong Kong Conglomerate to find a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit and Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a robust Compliance Framework and conducting comprehensive audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Compliance Framework to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Plan and execute internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify areas of improvement and ensure proper controls are in place.
- Conduct regular monitoring activities to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support in implementing compliance-related initiatives.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the organization's compliance practices are up to date.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization through training programs and awareness campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA are highly desirable.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in related position with sizable company
- Proven experience in implementing and managing a Compliance Framework within a complex organization
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to the entertainment and leisure industry.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
