This important new opening will oversee the low latency infrastructure and provide the technical expertise to electronic trading plant globally.

About the Job

You will be playing an important role in Production Assurance and Operations, providing domain and technical expertise to effective delivery of infrastructure operational support. You will also work with global teams to manage infrastructural issues.

  • Act as the Production Assurance & Operations lead for the APAC region within the Specialized Electronic Trading Infrastructure organization
  • Provide domain and technical expertise to ensure the effective delivery of infrastructure operational support to the electronic trading plant globally with minimal business interruption
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Application Support & Development teams to ensure timely and effective response to all infrastructure operational issues & necessary follow ups
  • Partner with the SETI Production Assurance team globally to ensure effective cross-regional collaboration
  • Chair weekly operational meetings with senior technology & business stakeholders
  • Oversee Problem Management of electronic trading infrastructure incidents
  • Routinely review and understand all-related infrastructure changes
  • Routinely review key operational metrics & service level expectations with internal clients
  • Produce additional metrics & reporting as required

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
  • An understanding and experience of the technology used in low latency electronic trading is required (i.e. one or more of: Unix / Linux, Networking, IT Security / Firewalls, Load Balancers, Databases, Storage, Market Data, Messaging, Exchange / Client connectivity, or Sales and Trading Application Support).
  • High level understanding of financial markets.
  • The ability to communicate confidently and clearly on conference calls, in meetings, via email, etc. at all levels of the organisation.
