about the company.
Our client, a well known financial institution, is urgently looking for an all around Generalist to join their growing team to support the Head of HR and assist with HR and Administrative duties
about the job.
  • Support the Head of HR, Hong Kong & Singapore in routine HR administration tasks
  • Solely manage the leave record for all staff in Hong Kong; which involves manual leave calculation and coordination with all staff to ensure the record is accurate without the support of a eLeave system
  • Support the recruitment process and coordinate all interviews for the Resourcing Manager
  • Responsible for interns hiring; conduct initial interviews, communicate with government bodies in arranging the interview logistics and manage offers signing
  • Be the main HR contact for all staff enquiry in HR policies, medical, insurance & leave records
  • Responsible for on-boarding management, perform background checking coordination and documentation vetting; communicate with compliance to ensure the staff is fit and proper before commencing duty
  • Heavily involved in vendors management to ensure proper record is input to the payment system; coordinate with relevant departments to ensure payment is cleared on time and keep good record for all payments
  • Manage the sensitive leave control for the Hong Kong office in according to the operational risk requirement; as the main contact point for all staff, IT & Operational Risk team to ensure Hong Kong is fully complied with the sensitive leave requirement
  • Manage all work visa application process for Hong Kong; coordinate with HRBPs (in Asia) & service providers to manage the full process to ensure full compliance to the Hong Kong immigration law
  • Responsible for administrative duties, such as the procurement of office supplies, stationery, handling incoming and outgoing mails/couriers within HR team
  • Support the HR team in performing the year-end review exercise
  • Assist ad-hoc tasks/projects
skills & experiences required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Outlook and Excel
  • A pro-active team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong risk sense, time sensitive and able to keep confidentiality
  • Self-initiative, positive, resourceful, well-organized, meticulous, and able to handle multi-tasks within deadlines
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
