About the company

The client is a globally renowned company that has established a leading position in the industry. It is also known for its large scale facilities development projects, stable project pipeline and its inclusive culture. With their upcoming construction project and enhancement of safety strategies, they would like to look for a HSE talent to be the leader of the team (HSE Manager).

About the role

As a HSE Team Leader/Manager, you can expect the major job responsibilities to be the followings:

  • Establish, update and implement EHS strategies and procedures through effective coordination with internal stakeholders, including senior management, employees and contractors
  • Conduct regular site inspection to ensure the construction activities are aligned with governmental regulation and company standards as well as free from potential safety risk
  • Organize training sessions and campaigns to promote culture of high EHS awareness within the organization
  • Identify potential safety risks and environmental issues and provide technical advice to enhance overall EHS standards
  • Draft report and deliver presentation to the top management on relevant issues
  • Lead the team to provide guidance on strategy implementation and inspection activities are delivered in a quality and timely manner


  • At least 10 years of work experience in health, safety and environmental in construction and site setting from contractors
  • Solid knowledge in establishing, drafting and implementing EHS policies and guidelines as well as conducting site inspection is highly preferred
  • Full professional proficiency in written and oral English is a must; knowledge in Cantonese is a bonus; expats with HK work visa are welcome to apply
  • Experience in working for high risk regulation projects (e.g. factory, power station, plant, etc.) is a great advantage
  • Strong leadership skills, communication skills and relationship building skills
