Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for transaction banking products, such as open-account trade finance, factoring, and supply chain finance.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, specifically targeting PRC conglomerates and HK local blue-chips, to understand their transaction banking needs and offer customized solutions.
Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure transaction banking products align with client requirements and remain competitive in the market.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key stakeholders, including senior executives and decision-makers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients, working alongside legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, while accurately tracking and reporting all sales activities using the bank's CRM system.
Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, including operations, credit, and risk management teams, to ensure seamless execution of transactions in adherence to the bank's policies and procedures.
Stay current with the bank's products and services, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements, continuously enhancing professional knowledge and skills to optimize sales effectiveness.
Meet or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), actively contributing to the overall growth and success of the bank's transaction banking business.

skills & experiences required.

At least 13 years of experience in transaction banking sales, with a focus on open-account trade finance, factoring, and/or supply chain finance.
Experience working with PRC conglomerates and HK local blue-chips, and a deep understanding of their transaction banking needs and preferences.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment for transaction banking in Hong Kong and mainland China, and a track record of working effectively with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Experience in managing the end-to-end sales process for complex transactions, including lead generation, negotiation, and deal closing.
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, and relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are preferred but not mandatory.
