about the company

Our client is an expanding Investment Bank and Securities firm in APAC. about the team

about the job
  • You will provide primary coverage for the IBD and Capital Markets business in APAC
  • Build and develop relationships with the business to enhance tighter communication, foster an atmosphere of proactive Compliance by the business
  • Ensure the “2nd line of defence” is tightly administered in accordance to the firm’s larger objectives
  • Manage firmwide projects and initiatives
  • You will also lead the SFC on-site inspection in relation to IBD & Capital Markets
skills & experiences required
  • Degree in Law or Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in IBD / capital markets compliance or legal in financial services in HK
  • In-depth knowledge of SFC rules and regulations pertaining to IBD and Capital Markets business
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with stakeholders at different levels
  • Good organizational, leadership and people management skills
  • Fluent in English, and Mandarin languages
