As the Lead for the Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) segments, your role encompasses various responsibilities:
Leading and motivating a team of Relationship Managers to drive business development within the financial institutions sector.
Developing effective marketing strategies and plans to achieve the team's business goals.
Identifying and analyzing market drivers to proactively source new business opportunities in alignment with the Banks (e.g. Local Banks, Chinese Banks, Foreign Banks etc.) and NBFIs segments (e.g. Securities, Insurers, PE/Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Public Sector etc.).
Soliciting business through both loans and non-lending products - syndicated lending, bilateral lending, margin finance, FX/Derivatives, treasury marketing products, CASA, corporate deposits, repo, trade finance etc.
Building and nurturing strong customer relationships by deeply understanding their business, organizational structure, and motivational drivers, while collaborating closely with key decision-makers.
Ensuring strict compliance with internal procedures and external regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and risk management.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including business, risk, compliance, and legal teams, to seamlessly execute strategies and initiatives.
Proactively identifying, preventing, and reporting any risks or policy breaches to maintain a robust risk management framework.

skills & experiences required.

You will ideally have 12-15 years of experience as a Team Head in Instituional Banking/Financial Instituions Group and will be familiar with leading FI coverage bankers to solicit new business opportunties and executing credit mandates within FI business. With respect to business needs, you will be proficient in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. You will be a capacble leader who demonstrates a great sense of self-motivation and proactiveness to drive the team forward.
