• Lead and manage a team of coverage bankers to identify business opportunities through new client mapping and maintain relationships with existing corporate clients.
• Utilize personal client connections to lead the team in marketing and self-driven prospecting of local corporates in Hong Kong (preferably blue-chips, bilateral relationships), multinational clients and top China corporates.
• Assume responsibility for portfolio targets, including revenue generation from New-To-Bank clients and portfolio refinancing (lending and non-lending KPIs).
• Evaluate new business opportunities in syndication, project finance, structured trade finance, club deals, bilateral lending, revolving loans, working capital loans, and cross-selling treasury/cash management products.
• Review pitch-books, conduct credit analysis, and develop financial models for credit proposal write-ups.
• Uphold superior credit quality standards.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of account opening procedures, KYC, due diligence, and AML protocols for client onboarding.
• Ensure compliance strictly with protocols and guidelines.

skills & experiences required.

You will ideally have 14-16 years of experience as a Section/Cluster/Team Head in Global/ Corporate and will be familiar with leading coverage RMs to solicit new business opportunties and executing credit mandates within Corporate Banking business. With respect to business needs, you will be proficient in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. You will be a capacble leader who demonstrates a great sense of self-motivation and proactiveness to drive the team forward.
