As the leader of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the team in negotiating and communicating contract terms with key suppliers
- Formulating and executing business strategies to achieve growth targets
- Creating a supportive and empowering work environment that fosters innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Developing a product acquisition strategy that identifies and onboards key partners to enhance the company's platforms
- Conducting competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential threats in the market
- Identifying and acquiring key partners and suppliers to establish a sustainable competitive advantage
- Implementing a consistent business plan, budget, and pricing strategies across all verticals
- Communicating the strengths and value of the business to partners and suppliers
- Providing customized solutions to maximize GMV/profit potential with key partners and suppliers
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create effective campaigns that align with partner and supplier products and objectives.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Business Development or equivalent roles within any e-commerce industry
- A successful track record of developing and executing BD strategies to acquire key suppliers and achieve business objectives
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and drive both short-term and long-term BD opportunities to increase GMV and profit growth
- Strong organizational, analytical, and business management skills
- A proactive approach to identifying innovative opportunities to drive sales
