A leading Government organisation with a focus on developing the local economy is now looking for a Group Head of Audit to oversee a portfolio of different business to make sure they align with all processes and standards set by the government. This is a group level role and one that requires expertise in this area.

What does the role involve?

  • Lead the internal audit function and conduct independent assessments/regular internal audits of the Group
  • Prepare annual audit plan with consideration of risk assessment, regulatory focuses and alignment with the Group's strategies and new business plan
  • Perform risk assessments of the overall control environment for business lines, operating environment and supporting function
  • Follow up audit recommendations post-audits, assess residual risk, validate remedial work performed, document closing issue
  • Work closely with external auditors and regulators on audit-related matters
  • To handle ad hoc independent reviews relating to internal controls and/or special investigation

What experience do you need?

  • Degree holder in Finance/Business or related discipline with professional accounting or auditing qualifications
  • Professional qualification in CPA
  • 15 years or above internal audit experience
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
