Global Product Manager (Electronics)

Our client is a globally recognized premium consumer electronics organization. Due to their growth and expansion, they're looking for a newly created Global Product Manager to be responsible for a new category line of home appliances, to manage the growth and penetration of the products on a global scale - short to long term strategic plans.

Job responsibilities:

  • Be responsible in taking lead and driving go-to market strategies for responsible category for the global market
  • Close collaboration with regional teams and Headquarters to maintain and manage P&L to ensure positive ROI and growth for responsible category
  • Responsible for product road-map (from concept to product launch) and making actionable recommendations to drive revenue growth on a global scale
  • Collaborate and participate in global product sales pitch
  • Responsible to conduct relevant research and analysis to formulate and recommend strategies to bridge gaps and capture opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product is launch within timeframe
  • Analyze data to generate insights to ensure competitiveness in market and identifying new market & product trends
  • Drive and lead new product launches to ensure product launch is effective eg. distribution channels, pricing strategies, listing is on time etc.

Job requirements:

  • Degree holder in business or marketing and/or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years experience in product management in electronics category, preferably consumer based products would be a bonus
  • Global/regional experience is preferred
  • Experience in developing products from the beginning and developing mid to long term strategies.
  • Strong project management, strong communication and result driven
  • Open-minded, strong presentation skills and relationship oriented
