You will be leading a team on product rating related analysis, monitoring the loss ratios accordingly to the line of products
You will be in charge of both technical and commercial pricing reviews including budgeting across all P&C lines of the business
You will have to apply your own actuarial judgement to provide interpretation results and generate reports and documents from observing trends in claims experience, various pricing methods and also projections from financial results
You have to ensure effective communications with different teams including, project management, product development, operations, IT & system, business development, claims, finance and actuarial reserving teams
You have to push forward the cooperation between teams on projects and to ensure business objectives could be matched and that implementation of work is agreed across the teams
You will have to play a strong role in converting repricing actions into strategical financial target that could be measured by doing regular basis profit review and monitor in the key lines of business
You will be responsible for producing, verifying and explaining the observations made from the reports
You will have to guide the team in handling inquiries including data reconciliation, modelling, modelling results interpretations, monitoring reports and generate observations, pricing methods, pricing information interpretation etc.
You will have to manage the priorities and time-line for the projects to assure pricing inputs progress

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or any other related disciplines
Qualifies Actuary or good progress in actuarial exams from recognised institutions e.g., UK, US, Australia etc.
Minimum of 5 years experiences in General Insurance pricing side
Experienced in leading junior actuaries to perform pricing tasks
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin to communicate effectively among and across the teams
Strong problem solving skills to provide effective solutions for wide range of problems
Advance in SAS and EMBLEM or any other similar soft-wares to do programming or modelling
