    General Manager, SaaS start-up | F&B, retail

    Our client is a fast-growing HR Tech / SaaS company providing one-stop HRMS / HRIS to Small and medium-sized enterprises, esp. f&b, retail, construction and manufacturing, etc. With a successful business model in APAC, they are partnering exclusively with us to look for an experienced General Manager to lead the Hong Kong team and grow the revenue and market share.

    about the team.

    • Report to the Group COO
    • With over 300 people in the APAC region
    • Lead a small Hong Kong team of 6 people, including business development, operations and administration

    about the job.

    • Own and oversee the P&L for the branch
    • Own and manage the strategic development and go-to-market plans for the solutions
    • Identify the potential area of growth and penetration, develop and drive strategies for growth in business and market share
    • Lead the Sales / Business Development team to identify, negotiate and close deals
    • Work closely with external partners to develop strategic partnerships and expand distribution channels
    • Establish and monitor measurement and reporting structure to evaluate the business performance
    • Oversee the growth (retention and activation) and acquisition campaigns to acquire, retain and activate clients, develop a sustainable customer ecosystem
    • Plan the organizational development strategies, developing different functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Business Development, Operations, etc.)
    • Work closely with related functions based in different locations in the APAC region, manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an efficient approach

    skills & experiences required.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT or any related discipline
    • 5+ years of experience in strategic business development and market expansion gained in the internet / gig economy / SaaS sector
    • Experience in running a start-up / developing a market from scratch
    • Experience in owning and managing the P&L
    • Excellent stakeholder management, team building, team leading and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) and English
