General Manager, Operations | Golf Club, GBA / South China

The company is a renowned premium entertainment and hospitality group with multiple portfolios and service offerings (e.g. catering, hotels, clubhouses, sports & recreation, etc.) in Hong Kong and China, targeting VVIP / (ultra) high-net-worth individuals. They are looking for a head of the department to lead the operational teams and drive the commercial success of their prominent golf club.

Lead directly the GM / AGM / SM of each functional team
Dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Location: based in Guangdong (preferred) / negotiable

about the job.

Own and oversee the P&L / annual budget for the club
Own and manage the strategic development and go-to-market plans for the services / products
Identify the potential area of growth and penetration, develop and drive strategies for growth in business and market share
Work closely with the Marketing, Communications and Partnership team to deliver all-rounded branding and marketing campaigns, develop and execute the branding strategies to create market presence and raise brand awareness
Oversee the operations and service delivery of different portfolios, ensuring quality services
Oversee the growth (retention and activation) and acquisition campaigns to acquire, retain and activate members, develop a sustainable member ecosystem
Establish and monitor measurement and reporting structure to evaluate the business performance
Plan the organizational development strategies, developing different functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Business Development, Operations, etc.)
Work closely with related BUs and external partners to develop strategic partnerships, manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an efficient approach
Be responsible for the overall operational and commercial (i.e. revenue) success of all portfolios / functional teams
Develop and monitor the performance of financial and operational plans which support the overall objectives of the portfolios and operating divisions
Work with portfolio heads to establish goals and objectives that coordinate with the overall group-wide goals and objectives
Achieve the most efficient and effective operations with well-balanced coordination among all functions through strict discipline and corporate governance
Oversee the delivery of excellent services to all customers and members, set and enforce customer service standards and procedures

skills & experiences required.

Degree holder of Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Tourism, Hospitality, or any related discipline
15+ years of management / operations experience in hotels, f&b, recreations, clubhouses, etc.
Management experience of golf clubs is a MUST
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Excellent communications in Cantonese, English and Mandarin; Chinese is a MUST
