Our client is a well-known luxury retail company with a great existence in the globe. Currently they are hiring a Gemologist to join their team. They are looking for someone who has experience in jewellery/watches products. Prior knowledge in covering APAC market is a plus.
about the job.
As a Gemologist, you will
...
-Maintain and update the quality control database according to QC guidelines
-Reviewing current inflation rates and other economic factors to determine fair market value for gemstones
-Ensuring the quality of gems as they travel through the jewelry-making process
-Conducting quality control to ensure incoming inventory meets our strict, exacting standards
-Track, organise and quality control all repair work and custom design pieces
-Coordinate with sales team to offer support and assist other business areas as needed
-Work with logistics team on import & export issues
skills & experiences required.
-Diploma from any discipline/Certificate in Gemology
-Min 5 years of experience in a relevant position
-Candidates from retail/luxury retail background are highly preferred
-Prior experience in working in multinational companies
-Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
