About our client

Our client is a leading multinational FMCG corporate (beverage).

They are looking for an E-Commerce Manager (based in Hong Kong) for Asia Pacific markets. You will establish new partnerships with 3rd party eCommerce platforms in Southeast Asia (both existing markets and emerging markets), create strategies to achieve sales targets, work with internal teams to implement eRetail or digitization projects, etc.

You will collaborate with internal teams to optimize Online presence by branding and marketing activities, and external support (3rd party agencies / eCommerce platforms) to ensure smooth delivery of eCommerce acceleration strategy, support regional team to develop new businesses.

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for creating eCommerce acceleration and go-to-market strategies to penetrate APAC markets, including activating cold markets, existing markets, developing new markets by establishing new partnerships with 3rd party eCommerce channels in APAC
  • Building long term partnership with key eCommerce accounts and ensuring sales promotional guidelines are planned and executed
  • Monitor partners and provide analysis, managing negotiations and implementing strategies to drive sales and profit growth (including budget management, range and space optimisation)
  • Liaise with and support internal teams in brand building and management for the company
  • Participate in projects or manage projects from end-to-end for new product launch
  • Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of customer


  • Degree holder in Business Management or related relevant field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce sales and operations for FMCG products
  • Deep understanding of Southeast Asia eCommerce landscape: click & mortars, pure players, e-marketplaces and on-demand delivery
  • Experience in developing new partnerships with 3rd party eCommerce platforms, with a proven sales track record
  • Working knowledge of traffic and conversion tools – offsite media (Facebook CPAS, Google SEM…), onsite media (advertising on eRetailer platforms) and eCRM
  • Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of APAC markets to identify new business opportunities, drive sales, grow revenue and establish strong partnerships by optimizing analytical findings
  • Able to learn shopper behavior and translate insights into action
  • An entrepreneurial and resourceful start-up mindset to test initiatives, learn and scale up to accelerate
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to adapt to market and cultural differences
  • Result-oriented, reliable work ethic and solid project management skills to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, additional Asian language is a plus
