• This job includes preparing financial statements and management reports in compliance with statutory and management requirements
• The candidate will have to be proficient in measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions and minimising the impact of variances
• The candidate will have to prepare statutory reports for submission to the IA (monthly, quarterly and annually)
• This job includes preparing budget and forecasting and to carry out budgetary control
• The candidate will have to manage tax related matters
• The candidate is required to review investment vouchers and investment accounts reconciliation

• Finance Operation Manual
• The job includes providing assistant in ad hoc projects when required

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or Business preferred
• Qualified accountant and member of HKICPA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years accounting experience in the insurance industry, preferably life insurance accounting experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory level
• Familiar with the operation of accounting system/software and HK IFRS17
• Experience of finance system implementation is desired
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese (including Mandarin) and English
