• Lead the finance transformation initiatives for our client's Group, act as consultant to oversee the delivery of different technology solutions to optimize financial processes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and quality standards, ensuring they are efficient, streamlined, and aligned with Group Finance requirements.
• Manage policies and procedures related to financial systems, access control, and separation of duties, ensuring compliance and effective maintenance.
• Take ownership of data and process governance, defining and maintaining solution outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide project management expertise, acting as a business Project Manager for our client's Group Finance initiatives and adhering to Project Management Office standards.
• Lead requirements gathering and design activities, actively participating in solution testing and validation to ensure the successful implementation of new financial technology solutions.
• Stay informed about current trends in financial technology, including product roadmaps of relevant applications, and make informed decisions regarding upgrades and changes.
• Maintain and enhance our client's Learning platform to foster ongoing engagement and knowledge sharing within the finance community.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, accompanied by ACCA/HKICPA qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years dedicated to finance technology and transformation projects, such as consolidation, reporting, and analytics.
• Candidates with Big4 consulting/ Consulting firms
• Proficiency in finance technology solutions, such as Oracle/ SAP/ Tagetik/ Power BI/ Dynamic/ Tableau and similar tools, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of data and process governance, with the ability to translate functional changes into change requests for technical support teams.
• Proven track record of driving finance transformation initiatives, with the ability to think strategically and execute projects in a collaborative manner.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex finance-related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
