Our client is a sizable multinational manufacturing and trading company operating in the global market. With a strong track record of success and a commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, they have established themselves as a leader in their industry. We are currently assisting them in their search for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the consolidation of financial data from various entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance within the organization.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and address any related issues.
- Coach and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent certification is required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on financial reporting and consolidation. Regional exposures is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial consolidation tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good commands in Chinese and English is required
