about the job.- Monitor contractors’ site activities and ensure works progress against project programme, within budget and prevent any impact on operating project
- Ensure construction safety and maintain high quality standards for the works in compliance with all statutory requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to meet with specified operational requirements and external parties, including the community and government departments on behalf of the engineer's representative to facilitate the granting of necessary approvals for implementation of works
- Maintenance will oversee building maintenance and operations, grounds maintenance, custodial support, and deferred maintenance capital program ensuring facilities are reliable and properly maintained.
- Develop and maintain annual departmental budgets. Review, monitor, and evaluate budgets and financial data of all areas supervised. Control and authorize expenditures in accordance with authorized parameters.
- Oversee custodial contracts and off-site clinic maintenance contract arranging for the services of outside contractors as needed.
- Assist in the selection, assignment, scheduling, training, discipline and evaluation of maintenance staff and direct reports.
- Assure that all related functions comply with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
skills & experiences required.- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related disciplines with professional qualifications
- Ideally someone with more than 10 years' experience in engineering consultancies, conglomerate, property developers, listed companies.Strong in multiple project management skills
- Luxurious and prestigious Residential/Retail and Hotel project experience in China is required
- Good communication skill with excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Willing to Travel or station at designated project location in China
- Knowledge of building construction, statutory and licensing requirement
