You will manage the Property Underwriting division and work closely with the regional office to maintain the company's market competitiveness.
You will conduct regular reviews on portfolio performance to achieve business strategic targets.
You will perform underwriting on the new business and renewal applications of Property insurance.
You will work closely with distributors (agents & brokers) to provide business support on business acquisition and retention.
You will participate in negotiations with reinsurers on all facultative reinsurance purchases & strategy.
You will formulate the division's training & development plan to enhance underwriters’ capability.
You will establish and regularly review underwriting guidelines to comply with the latest corporate global/regional development strategy and risk guideline.
You will develop strategies to enhance commercial viability and customer experience.
You will handle underwriting enquiries and complaints from clients and distribution channels.

skills & experiences required

You are a Bachelor Degree holder, preferably with ANZIIF.
You are with 10+ years Property underwriting experience with 5+ years supervisory experience.
You are experienced in handling international / multinational accounts.
You have strong market landscape knowledge in the Property underwriting market.
You have solid analytical skills to make assessment decisions independently.
You have good interpersonal skills and are customer-oriented.
