This well-known international bank is well known for it's dominating global presence. Due to business needs, they are looking for a payable/supply chain finance specialist to join their transaction banking shop covering working capital solution advisory. They are seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as a Senior Payables Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for originating payables solutions for their clients, helping them effectively manage their payables and optimize their balance sheets. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the sales team to analyze clients' working capital cycles, providing coaching to junior team members, participating in commercial activities and product development, and cross-selling other banking products.

Achieve quantitative and qualitative performance objectives for the overall payables solutions team.
Lead the end-to-end deal origination process, including preparing proposals and marketing presentations, conducting due diligence, negotiating documentation, and managing the credit approval process.
Manage internal stakeholders, such as Legal, Middle Office, Operation, and Compliance, to ensure smooth implementation of deals.
Provide feedback and coaching to team members on performance and development.
Negotiate risk mitigation tools, including risk participation agreements and insurance policies.
Stay updated on market product developments to ensure competitive product offerings and infrastructure support.
Share market updates and experiences with other team members.

skills & experiences required.

At least 10 years of experience in transaction banking sales, with a focus on payable trade finance & supply chain finance.
Experience working with PRC conglomerates, HK local blue-chips and sizeable MNCs, and a deep understanding of their transaction banking needs and preferences.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment for transaction banking in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asian countries, and a track record of working effectively with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Experience in managing the end-to-end sales process for complex transactions, including lead generation, negotiation, and deal closing.
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, and relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are preferred but not mandatory.
