Partner with the front office to advise, review, assess investment and project risk, ranging from private equity, private credit, project finance, structured finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, etc.
Assess underlying business logics and evaluate the counterparty’s credit risk, collateral’s liquidity
Identify, measure, monitor and report relevant risk (i.e. investment/market/ credit risk, etc) in the investment/ fund portfolios, conduct independent risk assessment and provide recommendation to senior management and investment committee
Serve as one of the members in the investment committee and participate in the decision making and approval process for investment projects for the group.
Review on the investment proposal and financial models, ensure key issues and concerns were raised to Investment Committee
Establish and maintain risk policies and control measures
Perform ad hoc due diligence with front office investment team
Keep abreast of the latest industry developments, maintain alertness to cope with internal and regulatory guidelines and market environmental changes.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor Degree or master degree holder
At least 10 years of experience in risk management with a focus on investment/project risk from the asset management/ direct investment/ banking industry
Product knowledge of asset classes including equities, fixed income, structured finance, project finance, private equity/credit, etc
Good knowledge of data analysis using statistical or programming tools
Strong communication, analytical and project management skills
Excellent communication in written and spoken chinese(Mandarin) and English
