Our client is a prestigious Chinese buy-side firm in Hong Kong, providing comprehensive and quality financial services to clients across the globe. As part of large business expansion, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced investment professional to join their team as Director/ Executive Director, Investment, Infrastructure Sector.

about the job.As the ED/D, investment management in infrastructure sector, your prime responsibility is to:
  • Evaluate and source mainland china infrastructure fund/co-investment/direct investment opportunities.
  • Lead execution of fund, co- and direct infrastructure investments for the Group.
  • Supervise/perform valuation and risk analysis, financial modeling and preparation of investment proposals for the Investment Management Committees.
  • Review and coordinate due diligence, documentation and approval/closing processes, ensuring compliance with Group’s policies and priorities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, lead transaction terms negotiations.
  • Coordinate with operation team and monitoring existing infra portfolio
skills & experiences required.
  • The ideal candidate would be a degree holder from reputable universities with minimum 10 year’ work experience, in one or several roles covering M&A, Corporate Finance, PE, infrastructure field investment, LP direct and/or co-investments, in reputable Investment Banks, Accounting Firms, Financial Institutions and/or Management Consulting Firms.
  • Industry and transaction expertise in the Energy, Power & Utilities, and Transportation and/or TMT sectors would be preferred.
  • Experience in Asia/ Mainland China market and Big Four would be an advantage.
  • Broad deal execution experience across different levels of the capital structure in a variety of transaction structures and geographies.
  • Strong organizational, communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills. Attention to detail.
  • Self-starting personality.
