My client is a well-established company in Hong Kong and they are looking for multiple Deskside Support Engineers to join their team. The right candidate will provide on-site technical support to the employees, ensuring that all IT equipment and systems function effectively.
about the job.
- Provide deskside support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
- Manage user accounts in O365, LAN and mobile devices, etc.
- Collaborate with the rest of the IT team to resolve technical problems and escalate issues when necessary
- Set up new workstations and assist with software installations for existing/new employees
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
skills & experiences required.
- Associate Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
- 2-8 years of experience in deskside support or relevant roles and at least 1 year for enterprise/group level/large scale organizations is preferable
- Strong understanding of hardware (such as laptops and mobile devices) and software installation
- Solid experience in operating systems like Windows, iOS, and Android
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Windows configuration, desktop administration, and Microsoft O365.
- Basic knowledge of network and server-side infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of Anti-virus and IT security practices
- Good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English n
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
