about the company. My client is looking for a Deputy Head of Legal & Compliance to join the company and support the fast growing business in Hong Kong. about the team. You will be leading a sizable legal and compliance team, and be responsible for the overall legal and compliance matters of the company. about the job.
  • You will advise senior managements and stakeholders and provide practical solutions on legal and compliance related matters of new business initiatives
  • You will work closely with business units and function heads and make sure the company’s activities are strictly abide by the applicable laws and regulations
  • You will be acting as Key Person for Compliance function and the contact point with Insurance Authority
  • You will monitor the implementation of Compliance manuals and other compliance policies and procedures, identifies gaps and recommends corrective actions
  • You will act as Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer and ensure the Anti-Money Laundering frameworks are sufficient and effective
skills & experiences required.
  • You need be a qualified HKSAR Lawyer with minimum 15 years’ PQE
  • You need to have solid working experience in insurance industry
  • You need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and strong problem solving skills
  • Good command of written & spoken Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) and English
