Job Description:

As the Deputy Financial Controller at our client's esteemed manufacturing company, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead a team of 25 people. You will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives
• Lead and manage a team of 25 finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to senior management for decision-making
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Occasional travel to China is required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a strong background in financial control and reporting
• Candidate with Big4/ Sizable audit firm experience is a must
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations
