About the company

Our client company is a renowned local developer that is known for large scale commercial development projects as well as its stable pipeline and culture. To further enhance its existing real estate portfolio, there will be a range of new development and A&A projects. They are currently looking for an architectural talent to join their team as Deputy Director /Senior Design Manager based in HK.

about the role

Reporting to the senior management, you are expecting your major responsibilities to be the below:

• You will be playing a critical role to coordinate new building development, A&A and redevelopment for the company’s properties
• Take charge of overall design management and project planning to ensure the development projects are completed in a timely and quality manner
• Contribute and generate new ideas and concepts to enhance the real estate portfolio by conducting research and studies
• Conduct presentations and reportings to top management on new ideas, development direction and project status
• Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as government authorities, tenants, leasing team, marketing team, project team, consultancies and contractors

Requirements & qualifications

• Degree holder in Architecture or equivalent; professional chartership is an advantage but not essential
• Around 14-25 years of experience involving in design or project management of building development or A&A projects, experience in commercial (office or mall) / hospitality projects is required
• Experience in rebranding, idea generation, user experience and technology application is highly preferred
• Client side experience is necessary; candidates from private developers, banks, commercial corporates, public organizations, universities or retail brands will be considered
• Experience in managing both architectural and interior fit out projects is highly desirable
• Confident, articulate and with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Mature and dependable with creativity and daring to explore new ideas
• Fluent spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
• Knowledge in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, SketchUp, etc.
