Perform database administration, support, maintenance, and enhancement, to cope with project development.
Handle database architecture design, optimization, tuning, and migration.
Monitor the performance of the databases, mitigate any potential risk of loss of data and systemic error.
Plan and carry out backup schedule, data restoration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Participate in vulnerability checks and migration projects.
Assist in SQL Query optimization to continuously enhancing the performance of the existing databases.

skills & experiences required.

4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other enterprise databases.
Hands-on experience in Oracle Data Guard, Transparent Data Encryption, and Oracle Real Applications Clusters.
Knowledge in database performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and capacity planning.
Proficient and experienced in database architecture design, installation, migration, tuning, and upgrade.
Familiar with Linux or Unix environment, especially on VDI like VMWare, as well as Linux scripting.
Knowledge in cloud-based database would be an advantage.
Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
