- Lead a small data team to develop and implement data strategies, and processes to effectively analyze and interpret data that will help drive business growth and improve decision-making processes
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to align business and data analytics requirements, design and develop data analytic solutions (dashboard/analytics report) and data models to support data-driven decision making
- Execute the strategies and use information assets to identify new business opportunities, shape business models, and achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion the use of data and analytics to complement decision-making capabilities and collaborate with lines of business to achieve business goals
- Identify and improve daily work efficiency through automated and streamlined processes
- Cultivate data-driven culture and drive data democratization within the working environment
- Assign tasks to the team and guide them to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to ensure that the organization's data analytics capabilities remain competitive
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, data mining-related areas, with at least 1 year of experience in leading/coaching a small team is desirable
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, etc.
- Cloud experience such as AWS/Azure would be advantageous
- Good business acumen and know-how in using data and technology to derive solutions to support business and growth
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
- Proficient in both written and spoken English & Chinese
