job description

about the company

Our client is an expanding Corporate Bank in Hong Kong / Greater China. about the team
  • International, dynamic working environment

about the job
  • You will assist the Head of Risk to review and monitoring the credit risk undertaken by the Firm
  • You will provide independent recommendation on new credit applications and response to waiver requests
  • You will work closely with assigned business segment units in the conduct of credit/ lending activity and you will review new credit applications with a view to provide an independent credit opinion
  • Monitor loan portfolio quality by way of news monitoring, periodic reviews and ensure current loan loss provisions, internal ratings and account grading reflect the state of the credit/ asset quality
  • You will participate in the quarterly portfolio review exercise for the region and with local credit committee meetings
skills & experiences required
  • Bachelor's degree holder in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in credit risk / credit analysis in corporate banking
  • Ideally with a strong knowledge in lending to large corporates in PRC
  • Able to carry out all activities to the highest standard and integrity
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese languages
