Stay updated on regulatory changes and revise policies and procedures accordingly.
Handle regulatory reporting and inquiries with relevant exchanges and regulators.
Conduct risk assessments and develop compliance testing plans for key risk areas.Manage and execute compliance testing for securities brokerage and related businesses including wealth management to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Suggest on policy, process, and system enhancements to mitigate compliance risks.
Prepare reports on compliance testing findings and recommendations, ensuring their implementation.
Oversee internal and external audits, inspections, and investigations.
Collaborate with different departments to address and remediate compliance issues.
Conduct in-house compliance training.
Assist in ad hoc compliance projects as needed.
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor's degree in Law, Accountancy, Finance, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in brokerage firms, financial institutions, or big 4 audit/law firms
Solid knowledge of SFC Code of Conducts and relevant regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of securities and investment products and their operations is advantageous.
Project management experience in implementing new rules, products, or business initiatives is desirable.
Responsible and well-organized, with the ability to work under pressure.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, and professional maturity.
Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
