Conduct comprehensive and objective compliance monitoring activities based on a risk-based approach, aligned with the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
Identify and analyze potential or actual regulatory risks discovered during compliance monitoring, and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders for effective risk mitigation
Execute compliance monitoring activities in accordance with the plan, as well as upon specific requests from the Manager, Local Compliance Officer or Regional Chief Compliance Officer
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Bank's compliance risk control framework, meticulously identifying key deficiencies, assessing their implications, and delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Ensure diligent follow-up with relevant stakeholders to track the implementation of agreed-upon mitigating actions resulting from compliance reviews
Collaborate with Internal Audit and regulatory examinations, proactively following up on management actions as appropriate
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports that are meticulously crafted for review by the Manager and Chief Compliance Officer, with the aim of submission to Branch management, Regional, and Head Office
Provide assistance in ad hoc compliance-related reviews, investigations, and other assigned duties as directed by the Senior Management
Promptly escalate critical issues, including those with potential regulatory concerns

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor degree, preferably complemented by professional qualifications such as CPA.
Possess 4-8 years of extensive experience in legal and compliance, operational risk management, risk controls function, or internal audit within the banking industry
Demonstrate a profound understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to the banking sector
Exhibit exceptional team player qualities, along with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Chinese
