About our client

Our client is a British hair styling accessory brand, headquartered in London, with a regional office located in Hong Kong.

They are looking for a Regional Commercial Sales Manager (stationed in Hong Kong) to look after markets in Asia (HK, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia) and develop new channels (Retail channels, E-commerce platforms, Distributors, Partnerships).

You will be leading a sales team (including retail team and partnership Sales Representative) of 13 to 16 to manage existing channels and expand to new channels in existing markets. It is a plus if you have exposure to China market and if you have experience handling Travel Retail channels.

Job Descriptions

  • Drive sales by working closely with existing distributors to monitor KPI and ensure sales team targets are met, develop long term relationships with key partners by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure strategies are rolled out with effective measurement of results
  • Coach sales team according to training plan, regularly follow up on performance and ensure service, product and brand knowledge are up to brand standard
  • Work closely with internal parties for smooth delivery to consumer end, e.g. Supply Chain, Merchandising, Regional and Global Sales Teams, Marketing, etc.
  • Channel management – Ensure responsible parties to meet sales targets of assigned accounts
  • Partake in brand building activities such as campaigns, trade shows, events, etc.
  • Identify potential business opportunities to develop new accounts, channels (Travel Retail, Department stores, etc.) and potentially new markets (e.g. China, India, Thailand, etc.)
  • Optimize Sales operations or related internal activities to help with growing business and strengthening brand value


  • 6-9 years of experience in business development, channel development or wholesale in consumer product industries, preferably with knowledge in retail management, E-commerce, distributor management and B2B sales
  • Preferably have experience handling Lane Crawford or Sephora
  • Proven track record of leading sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Regional exposure with deep understanding of different markets in APAC and able to create strategies and adaptations to cater to specific markets
  • Strong presentation, people management and analytical skills
  • Efficiency in using software and Microsoft programs
