... - Implement and oversee Azure projects, focusing on compute, networking, security, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and identity management.
- Adhere to established standards for cloud infrastructure engineering, particularly in security, automation, performance management, and documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Regularly assess the JML Azure Production and Disaster Recovery environments, implementing enhancements to boost performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Address and troubleshoot incidents related to systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, providing recommendations to enhance technology strategy.
skills & experiences required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years in IT project delivery, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of network design and implementation, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and subnetting.
- Solid knowledge of cloud storage solutions, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with service automation tools, such as PowerShell or APIs.
- Good communication skill in both English and Cantonese, Putonghua is a big plus
