About our client

Our client distributes alcohol brands mainly from Europe to Asia.

They are looking for a China Sales Representative / Assistant Manager (based in Hong Kong) to manage distributors and clients in the China market.

You will travel frequently to China to work closely with distributors, maintain and build your networks in on-trade and off-trade to grow business and meet sales targets, generate leads for distributors, manage distributors by setting KPI targets, manage supply and delivery by working closely with importers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Handle clients directly so as to generate leads to distributors with a clear focus on the Mainland China market
• Presenting and selling the products to existing and prospective clients
• Achieving sales targets and KPIs within schedule
• Assisting the clients with a full-time presence in the market for the promotion of the brands
• Building and sustaining business relationships with the distributors and their key accounts
• Training the sales teams of the clients and distributors
• Conducting competitive intelligence and market surveillance
• Being a Brand Ambassador to represent the brands in the market
• Organizing and leading promotional events (masterclasses, tastings, dinners, cocktails, parties, fairs, etc.)

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related disciplines
• Experienced in Sales in the Spirits industry in China
• Experienced in managing distributors in China
• Mandatory fluently spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Good command of Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and good adaptation to other software
• Passionate in wine & spirits
• Able to travel frequently to China
• Strong sales-driven and result-oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Have a good team and company spirit
