Mandarin is a must. about the job.As a Chief Engineer, you will- Monitor vessel performance, shipboard maintenance and repair programs- Monitor planned maintenance system to detect any delay which could impact the operation of the vessel- Prepare and organize the maintenance during ship’s trade- Supervise the shipboard working organization in close cooperation with counterparts - Monitor & help source spare parts and stores availability and requests from vessels- Conduct regular vessels inspections- Submit the damage claims including stevedores damages - Follow up defect reports, guarantee claims in a timely mannerskills & experiences required.-Degree or above-Prior seafaring experience is preferred-Proficient with Microsoft and Excel-Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills -Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment -Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities about the benefits.Our client offers an attractive salary package.
