about the company.

Our client is a leading fashion retailer with a strong business presence in the market. With their expansion in the China market, they are currently looking for a Chief Designer to join their team in Guangzhou.

about the job.
  • Manage design process from product development to final styling
  • Ensure effective visual presentation down into execution with reference to brand image consistency and guidelines
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabric, and techniques
  • Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits and create new concepts
  • Ensure product is in alignment with company business strategy
  • Review product for style and fit during presentations
  • Manage a team of 6-8 designers
  • Report to the Director
skills & experiences required.
  • Bachelor degree in fashion design or related field
  • Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is a MUST
  • 10+ years of experience in fashion design for retail brands
  • Proven leadership skills in managing junior designers
  • Eligibility to work in China
  • China exposure will have an advantage
  • Welcome candidates in Hong Kong or China
