Our client is a global leading MNC specializing in the product, distribution and provision of household, health care and personal care products. They are committed to continously looking for better and more sustainable methods to make products and packaging including finding opportunities to use less water, less plastic and as little waste as possible. In order to cope with rapid market changes, they are currently looking for a Channel Marketing Manager (modern trade) to join their local team in Hong Kong. about the team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager who oversees the entire brand marketing function, you will work with closely with the Branding, Digital Marketing and Sales Teams. Your counterparts consist of talents that are strong in data analytics, consumer market environment and local market needs. You will have close communications with your retailers to ensure their needs and challenges are heard. There will be times when you work closely with 3rd party vendors on certain launch and campaigns, too! about the job.
  • Translate market insights to channel marketing strategies on aspects such as product assortment, POP and promotion
  • Develop shopper programs (CRM) and campaigns to drive sales, loyalty and market share across all categories in your assigned channels
  • Develop effective pricing strategies and promotion offers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure in-store execution excellence
  • Manage store coverage and ensure adequate inventory level
  • Work closely with eComm team to accelerate sales and penetration
  • Predict, anticipate and develop channel marketing strategies to proactively respond to competitors' moves
skills & experiences required.
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or any other relevant disciplines
  • 4+ years of experience in FMCG with channel/trade/retail environment marketing experience; modern trade is a MUST
  • Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Strong expertise in key accounts retail environment and shopper behavior
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as "Assistant Manager"
