job description

about the company

  • Our client is a leading Retail and Corporate Bank in Hong Kong.

about the team
  • This role is on 2nd Line of Defense. It is a dynamic and high performing team.

about the job
  • You will provide capital risk management oversight for the bank
  • You will manage RWA and be familiar with regulatory capital management in regards to HKMA capital rules and policy
  • You will be responsible for controls, limits and framework for capital metrics, ICAAP, stress testing, recovery and resolution and solvent wind down
  • You will frequently interact with the ALCM team and other stakeholders to establish strong relationships, advise and provide constructive challenge to the first line of defense on capital risks and decisions

skills & experiences required
  • University degree in finance, accounting, risk management or relevant studies
  • At least 6 years of knowledge/ relevant experience of balance sheet, income statement dynamics or capital risk issues, treasury management or recovery and resolution requirements, related experience of treasury, liquidity management or finance is also considered
  • Sound knowledge of capital management rules and policy from HKMA
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent English and Chinese languages
