about the job.
  • Manage existing clients, from on-boarding through to project / platform delivery and closure, respond to incoming leads and project feasibility and pricing requests from customers
  • Prospect for new customer leads through LinkedIn, your existing network, and proactively identify and engage key target customers and work with Senior Account Managers to develop these into new customers
  • Very actively meet clients in Hong Kong as well as business travel in SEA (monthly)
  • Support internal operations team, proactively ensure client projects run smoothly with exceptional service
  • Provide account management and platform training to clients
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell across the product range and meet revenue targets
  • Generate new business across the Market Research, Media Owner and Media Agency verticals
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities through selling to C-level executives in the region
  • Proactively suggest improvements and support needed in the organisation to assist sales growth
  • Create and drive strategic planning and your own new territory strategy (using the company’s sales plan framework)
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and update CRM and order management systems
  • Ensure client retention and high satisfaction through relationship development

essential skills & experiences required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years Project / Account Management / Sales experience in Market Research, data, digital media or technology companies
  • Experience working in the region; Greater China and / or South-East Asia
  • Team player, yet able to work highly independently, self-starter, entrepreneurial
  • Passion to develop solution sales, negotiation and account management skills
  • Demonstrable experience in generating new business
  • Demonstrable understanding of the online market research market, supply chain and industry value chain
  • Reasonable understanding of the emerging mar-tech, digital media, SaaS, and consumer data ecosystems
  • Strong academic background (university degree preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communicator (good English, Cantonese preferred, more Asian languages welcome)

  • Self-motivated, proactive, risk taking, and driven to succeed and continuously develop
  • Strong at developing strong personal relationships to important client contacts
  • Understanding of Social Selling and a solid LinkedIn profile
  • Interest in solution selling methodologies
  • May have own network in market research, media or other target verticals
  • Fun and open-minded personality
  • Strong networking capabilities
