Business Development Manager (APAC)

About our client

Our client is a global leading Consumer brand focused on the beverage category, with their headquarters based in Europe and their regional office in Hong Kong.

We're currently partnering with them in looking for an APAC Business Development Manager based in Hong Kong to look after the APAC market.

Partnering with internal teams in the region, responsibilities include developing new businesses through different channels (online and offline) in the local markets and devleoping go-to market strategies to strengthen brand awareness and gain market share in the region.

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible in developing and driving new business channels (online and offline) across the region
  • Collaborate with with internal marketing and strategy teams in developing tailored channel marketing campaigns (CRM, trade marketing, events, public relations, etc.) to the local market
  • Identify new business opportunities and trends in on-trade and explore new channels in Asia markets both offline and online
  • Drive brand engagement and grow network of bartenders, commeliers, F&B restaurant owners, etc. to increase brand exposure and presence in Asia
  • Focus on sales transformation projects and drive O2O initiatives to ensure a smooth development of omni-channel sales
  • Explore and analyze product portoflio (direct and indirect brands) consumption and consumer behaviour trends, to further facilitate the route-to-market strategies
  • Support distributors and business partners in sales growth


Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in a business related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and/or business development experience in consumer product sector, preferably with APAC experience focusing on beverage, wines & spirit and food category
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive and can-do attitude
  • Quick learner with high adaptability to new challenges and changing times
  • Strong in communication and a team player with project management skills
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Excellent command of English; Mandarin is an advantage
