The company is a fast growing fintech firm based in HK servicing clients across Asia and the UK and partnering with banks in delivering lending solutions which enables customer service improvements and a reduction in costs and new loan products offering capability.

about the job.

You will be reporting to the Head of Delivery you will collaborate internally / externally with functions across the organisation to understand customer requirements, competitor service offerings, & organisational objectives, in order to propose & deliver operational solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in facilitating workshops capturing customer business / operational issues & translating into requirements for developing technology.
  • Capturing & analysing data to quantify business issues & build business cases
  • Assist with preparing project progress status reports, highlighting key issues & risk mitigation
  • Translating customer requirements in to use cases
  • Assist in preparing documents i.e. operation guideline, process maps, training materials
  • Assist co-ordinating end user UAT – documenting test cases & outcomes
  • Assist in delivering End User Training

skills & experiences required.

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience working in a banking environment, technology provider or consultancy
  • Comfortable interacting confidently with operations staff
  • Ability to manage & prioritise tasks required for solution delivery
  • Ability to drive and implement change
  • Excellent communications (written & verbal) skills
  • Flexibility & adaptability in approach to problem solving
  • Patience & willingness to listen
  • Drive and commitment
  • Process Mapping
  • Data gathering & analysis
  • Applied / utilised the following methodologies – BPR, Six Sigma / Lean Sigma & Agile / Scrum project delivery methodology

Language Skills: Fluent in English, other Asian language skills preferred

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, MS Project & other industry standard PM collaboration tools. Working knowledge of .Net & SQL would be advantageous

Travel: Ideally based in Hong Kong with the ability to travel 30-40% of the time
