Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify insurance vendor requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Conduct vendor selection processes, including RFIs and vendor evaluations, to identify suitable insurance vendors for various lines of coverage
Negotiate and manage insurance vendor contracts, including terms, pricing, coverage limits and service level agreements.
Monitor insurance vendor performance, conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with insurance vendors to develop and implement improvement initiatives, optimizing service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct periodic insurance vendor risk assessments, identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with vendor relationships.
Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and emerging technologies relevant to our organization's insurance needs.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on insurance vendor management best practices and processes.
Evaluate and recommend insurance vendor management tools and software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
skills & experiences required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field. 5 years of experience in insurance vendor management, procurement, or a related role within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of insurance vendor management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a deep understanding of insurance contract terminology and provisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
