Our client company is an international corporation based in Hong Kong that is known for its quality services and innovative operation model. It operates a property division with redevelopments and A&A projects for upgrading its existing community properties. In a bid to better support the project team, a new headcount is created for BIM talent to join the team.
About the role
As a BIM Specialist, you can expect your major responsibilities to be the followings:
- You will be involved in maintaining and managing the Building Information Modeling delivery throughout design and construction phrases for the company’s building development project using relevant software
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and other external parties to ensure design & models are functionally and aesthetically aligned with requirements
- Coordinate with consultancies and contractors and attend meetings to ensure the models and drawings reflect and align with the standard
- Develop strategies, workflow & guidelines for future project execution and adoption of BIM technologies
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or equivalent
- Around 6-12 years practical experience in the construction and property industry; solid 2-3 years of BIM modeling experience in developing technical drawings & BIM models for building construction, A&A or FM projects
- Professional qualifications in BIM is preferred but not compulsory
- Experience in establishing the BIM workflow or guideline is highly preferred
- Flexible, detail-minded as well as having excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in BIM software is a must, such as Revit, Navisworks, Fuzor, etc. ; proficiency in critical design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, etc. is also preferred
- Fluency in Cantonese is preferred and English (spoken and written) is a must
