about the company.

Our client is a well-known retail and corporate bank with strong presence in the region. They are seeking for an Internal Audit Manager to manage and perform banking audit for the Group in Hong Kong.

about the role.

You will:

  • Prepare and execute annual audit plan to ensure internal audit function complies with the Banking Ordinance
  • Plan and conduct internal audit reviews of risk, credit, operations areas etc. across retail and corporate banking
  • Identify key business risks within the banking environment
  • Perform risk assessments, evaluate effectiveness of existing internal controls
  • Provide internal advisory on internal controls and procedures, new products etc.
  • Present audit findings to Audit Committee and ensure recommendations are implemented

skills and experience required.

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Qualified member of CPA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent
  • 4-8 years’ banking audit experience from Big 4 or financial services sector
  • Sound knowledge in internal audit, controls testing, risk management and compliance of the banking sector
  • Strong business sense, ability to spot on key risks and work with senior management
  • Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Internal grading will be subjected to candidate's years of experience
