About the team:

Team of 6 and adding a new headcount to the team. The position will be reporting into the Team of Department and supervise 4 juniors in the team indirectly, and the role will be focuing on general ledger, month end closing as well as to act as a reviewer on payment process.


Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Head of Department and VP of the team in managing financial reporting and financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies by overseeing the Accounts Payable function and facilitating timely payments.
• Conduct General Ledger control activities, including reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding issues.
• Perform financial closing procedures and prepare accurate reports for submission to Head Office.
• Assist in preparing and compiling tax computation packages.
• Take a leadership role in supervising and guiding junior staff to ensure task completion.
• Actively participate in various projects and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking or financial industry, with a demonstrated ability to lead junior staff
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Embrace and drive changes within the organization effectively
• Exhibit proficiency in MS Office Excel
• Display a responsible, independent, and self-motivated work approach
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Showcase critical thinking abilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure
• Possess excellent written and spoken English and Chinese language abilities
