About the team:

Team of 4, reporting into the VP of Finance & Admin, the position will be handling daily accounting activities, assist on month end closing, support on monthly management report as well as to perform accounting control.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the oversight of daily operations within the financial accounting department to ensure the utmost integrity and accuracy of the bank's accounting books and records.
Collaborate in the execution of monthly financial accounts closing procedures for the bank and its affiliated entities.
Prepare regular, comprehensive financial reports and perform in-depth analysis for department heads and senior management.
Assist in managing and facilitating the SOX review process, as well as internal and external audit engagements.
Contribute to activities related to transfer pricing matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Foster effective communication and coordination with overseas branches, the head office, and auditors during internal audits and SOX reviews.
Assist in the periodic review and revision of procedure manuals to ensure alignment with head office policies, prevailing regulations, and best practices.
Prepare ad hoc reports of a specialized nature to address specific informational needs.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Professional Accountancy, Finance & Accounting or BBA with major in Accounting or any equivalent
Professional Qualification in CPAA, ACCA or HKICPA, welcome finalist
At least 5-7 years of working experience, in which, someone with at least 3 years of in-house and relevant experience, ideally someone with financial institution or banking exposure
Exhibit proficiency in utilizing accounting systems such as Oracle GL system or MYOB.
Display independence, self-initiative, and exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, ensuring efficient report preparation and analysis.
