My client is a fast-growing business in Hong Kong and they are currently looking for an Associate IT Director who has a well-rounded background in IT including system development & implementation, infrastructure, and operation. The right candidate will lead a small team in the IT department and participate in planning and implementing digitalization projects to support business growth. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior IT Manager.

- Act as the key thought leader in the IT department, leading the team/3rd party vendors and overseeing their activities and performance
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders from other departments to define, align, and deliver IT strategies, roadmaps, policies, budgets, and action plans for digital transformation projects.
- Research new technologies and utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple tech areas to provide technical oversight and solutions that improve operational efficiency
- Review and manage manpower, budget, and timelines based on project priorities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and suggest workable solutions for business needs
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or a related discipline
- 15+ years of experience in the IT field with well-rounded experience, including but not limited to ERP/CRM systems, system/application development, IT infrastructure, public cloud, project delivery, digital transformation, IT policies & governance, etc.
- Prior experience working in the real estate/property/banking/financial services industry would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of SDLC with hands-on coding experience, IT architecture design, change management, and industry best practices/standards
- Strong business sense and ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders at all levels, effectively translating technical ideas into simple language
- Experience in planning and developing the annual budget, timeline, and manpower
- Proficiency in speaking both Cantonese and English is a must, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
- Good interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- PMP certification is a plus
